On Iceland

Iceland (in so many words)

Iceland is not as far as you might think. In fact, the small island in the Atlantic is USA’s closest European neighbor. It takes less than five hours to get there by flight from New York.

Iceland is not as cold as you might think. In fact, the coolest thing about Iceland might be its name. Average January temperature in Reykjavik is higher than that in New York. And Icelanders always have a warm welcome for tourists.

Iceland is not as small as you might think. A progressive nation rooted in a rich culture, Iceland combines all the advantages of city life, gourmet restaurants, cultural venues and shopping, as well as all the advantages of tremendous natural beauty and vast wilderness.
